Job Title: Quality Engineer IIl Location: Middletown, CT Zip Code: 06457 Start Date: ASAP Type: 6 mo Contract Pay: $44.00- $45.67 Keywords: #QualityEnigneering #CTjobs A Senior Quality Engineer job in Middletown, CT is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for the management of quality assurance engineering programs on a limited basis. This role is a 6 month contract position, with the potential to be hired on full time. To be considered you will have a BS degree in related engineering field.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work under the general direction of Quality Management with minimum supervision. Responsible for the management of quality assurance engineering programs on a limited basis. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Develop and implement plans to accomplish program objectives which support schedule and meet contract objectives. Work with blueprints and mil specs in accordance with government or customer contract requirements. Monitor status of master plan and all related department plans and schedules to ensure milestones are accomplished. Monitor status of NC"s and MRB activities to ensure milestones are accomplished.
• Identify problems in production related to NC"s and assure a plan is developed, in coordination with other functional departments for implementing corrective action. Initiate corrective action, if necessary.
• Recommend manpower requirements to ensure the proper number of resources are being applied for current and expected work and to assure on time delivery of products to the customer. Provide leadership on quality issues concerning both customers and internal programs to assure effective cause, corrective and preventative action. Monitor for continued effectiveness. Provide complex quote support and information based on contractual requirements.
• Serve as liaison between MRB and management to ensure requirements, cost and schedule are maintained. May be required to develop and present quality metrics management.
• Assist in the development and presentation of training programs, as needed.
• Follow standard departmental and company procedures as outlined by management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• US Citizen or green card holder no sponsorship
• BS degree in related engineering field.
• Over 7 years of quality assurance experience.
• Broad knowledge of a general technical field such as quality assurance or quality engineering.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 regulations.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for excellence.
