POSITION SUMMARY:

Our team at PMI Capital District is looking for a Business Development Manager who will thrive in a hybrid position. If you’re the kind of person who starts conversations in line at the coffee shop—just because, love to make connections and you see opportunity everywhere- this position will be a great fit.

Success in this role hinges on a unique blend of skills: the confidence to lead conversations, the creativity to generate solutions, and the persistence to close deals. A knack for building relationships, an eye for market trends, and a results-oriented mindset will be what sets you apart.

A successful day in this role might look like this:

  • Start your morning with a strategy call to review and prioritize high-value leads.
  • Meet with a potential client to deliver a compelling presentation on how PMI Capital District can boost their property’s ROI and assist with Real Estate sales..
  • Negotiate contract terms while seamlessly addressing client concerns, demonstrating your market knowledge and negotiation skills.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for a newly signed client.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and connect with property owners and investors interested in property management and real estate.
  • Develop relationships through cold calling, networking, and follow-ups from company campaigns.
  • Present customized sales pitches highlighting ROI, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies.
  • Conduct market research to uncover trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless onboarding.
  • Track and manage leads in the sales pipeline

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year of sales experience and a proven track record of influencing and converting leads
  • Current real estate license OR the ability to obtain one within 4 months of hire (we’ll support you!)
  • Willingness to join the local MLS as part of your real estate activity
  • High energy, natural charisma, and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to multitask, self-direct, and adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • A people-first mindset—you genuinely enjoy connecting and collaborating

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Salary: OTE $60,000 - $80,000
