Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble high-quality cabinets, furniture, and millwork based on project specifications.
  • Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings to ensure precise craftsmanship.
  • Operate woodworking machinery, including table saws, jointers, planers, and edge banders .
  • Perform hand-finishing, sanding, and detailing to achieve smooth surfaces and refined aesthetics.
  • Work with various materials, including solid wood, veneers, laminates, and composite panels .
  • Ensure projects meet high-quality craftsmanship standards and client expectations.
  • Install hardware, hinges, drawer slides, and other components.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow all safety procedures .
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other craftsmen to meet deadlines and production goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Cabinetmaker, Woodworker, or Millworker in a custom cabinetry or furniture shop.
  • Strong understanding of wood species, grain patterns, and finishing techniques .
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with precision.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery .
  • Experience with custom joinery, edge banding, and veneer work .
  • Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to unique project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical training or certification in woodworking, cabinetry, or a related field.
  • Experience in high-end residential or commercial millwork .
  • Knowledge of CNC machining and cabinet software is a plus.
