We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the operational functions of a rapidly growing landscape company. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the CEO to execute the company’s vision and business plan while managing day-to-day operations across multiple departments. This role is instrumental in ensuring the company achieves its growth objectives and operates efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Execute the business plan, achieving or exceeding P&L targets.
Lead, manage, and hold the leadership team accountable for commitments.
Oversee the operational departments, including Marketing, Sales, Finance, HR, and Customer Service.
Own and manage the organizational scorecard, proactively identifying and addressing issues.
Standardize and systematize operations using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).
Foster collaboration and alignment among leadership teams to ensure cohesive execution.
Manage and resolve issues effectively, maintaining a focus on the greater good of the business.
Ensure company processes are followed consistently with a focus on continuous improvement.
Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of senior leadership experience in service-driven industries.
Proven track record in startups or mid-sized companies with seasonality considerations.
Analytical mindset with strong data-driven decision-making skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams while staying involved in operational details when needed.
Experience in building and sustaining high-performing teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative leadership style.
Highly organized and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in M&A and integrating companies under a unified structure.
