To work as part of a team to assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of clinical pharmacy services in Solid Organ Transplant in both the inpatient and outpatient setting; to ensure and promote the safe, rational, efficacious and cost-effective use of drug therapy; to provide leadership for Solid Organ Transplant services including developing guidelines and policies, staff training activities, developing quality improvement processes, and to assist in the clinical training of staff, residents and students.
This will be a full-time, day shift (rotating weekends) position. This position is designed with a focus on abdominal organ transplant with split inpatient and outpatient responsibilities for kidney and liver transplant patients. Additionally, this solid organ transplant pharmacist will cover inpatient lung transplant/pulmonary medicine patients up to ~25% of the time, with additional potential for cross coverage in outpatient lung transplant.

Solid Organ Transplantation Pharmacy Specialty Certification ( BCTXP ) . Ability to perform a variety of manual dexterity movements, including keyboarding and IV preparation, actively participating in codes. Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English.
