Summary

Do you enjoy cooking for your family? If so, how would you like cooking for ours? Small, private, Christian daycare is looking for a cook. Our center is like a family with a lot of our staff having worked here for over 5 yrs and some as many as 15-20 yrs. We genuinely care about not only the children but one another as well. The cook is a part-time position with hours approximately from 7:15 am to 1:00 pm Monday - Friday. You would be responsible for preparing breakfast and lunch each day and setting up an afternoon smack for the children. In addition, the cook helps the director keep up with inventory and does the shopping for the center. The children are aged 1 yr - 5/6 yrs. Duties

• prepare breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack
• help director with weekly menus
• keep an inventory of food on hand
• maintain cleanliness of kitchen as well as the carts used for serving the food
• wash/dry serving dishes each day (we use styrofoam trays and bowls as well as plastic silverware so dishes are minimal)

Requirements

• high school diploma
• work well with others
• love children
• take required training (all online and paid for)
• have your own transportation
• have a servant heart
