Delivery Driver / Production Assistant

Compensation:

• $20-22/hour

Location:

Charleston, SC – Primarily based at our commissary/production hub (Shelmore) and rotating between our 4 shop locations.

Position Summary:

We’re seeking a self-motivated and reliable Delivery Driver / Production Assistant to join our growing team. This role combines timely delivery of pastries and shop inventory with hands-on production support in our warehouse. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations while contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery (Approx. 60-70%):

• Daily Pastry Deliveries:
• Pickup from the commissary/production hub at 6:30 AM weekdays and 7:30 AM weekends .
• Complete a delivery loop between 4 Charleston shop locations (approx. 1 hour).
• Ensure timely, careful delivery and accurate documentation.
• Bi-Weekly Inventory Deliveries:
• Deliver shop stock on Mondays (for the week) and Thursdays/Fridays (weekend prep).
• These deliveries may require a full shift dedicated to delivery duties .
• Operate a company-provided delivery vehicle responsibly and professionally.

Production Support (Approx. 30-40%):

• Assist with brew production : keg cleaning, cold brew concentrate brewing and dilution.
• Sanitize brewing equipment and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Support warehouse inventory management and stock rotation.
• Regularly lift and move 50–100 lbs of equipment or materials.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent time management and reliability, especially for early morning deliveries.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Comfortable lifting and carrying 50–100 lbs regularly.
• Clear communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
• Previous delivery or production experience preferred but not required.

Schedule:

• Pastry Delivery Loop: 5–6 days a week (6:30–8:00 AM weekdays, 7:30–9:00 AM weekends) from the commissary/production hub .
• Bi-Weekly Full-Day Deliveries: Mondays & Thursdays/Fridays.
• Additional warehouse shifts as scheduled.
