Job Description

Position Overview:
The Emergency Department Director provides clinical and administrative leadership in emergency medicine, overseeing the implementation of organizational vision, mission, and standards for nursing services.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and participate in the development of nursing and organizational policies and decisions.
Ensure accountability for the quality of services provided.
Supervise and guide personnel, including performance evaluations.
Coordinate nursing services with other healthcare disciplines.
Assist in recruiting, selecting, and retaining staff.
Manage staffing, scheduling, and ensure appropriate training and professional development.
Develop and oversee budgets for designated areas.
Engage in evaluative research and foster educational opportunities for nursing students.
Oversee the hospital trauma program and ensure compliance with state trauma designation requirements.
Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, guidelines, and professional standards
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 130,000.00 Per Year
