Job Description

We are looking for a painter with a strong work ethic, a professional appearance and demeanor, and good overall knowledge and experience.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

• Bodywork and Preparing surfaces: Inspect bodywork prior to primer/paint. Ability to apply filler, sanding, long blocking, priming, and masking surfaces to prepare them for painting
• Mixing paint: Selecting, color matching, and mixing paint and coating liquids to achieve the desired color and texture
• Applying paint: Using a sprayer to apply paint to the surface
• Inspecting: Checking the quality of the paint job for runs, sags, and unpainted areas
• Applying finish: Applying clear coat finish. Cut and polish vehicle to achieve a professional finished product
• Maintaining equipment: Keeping all body shop equipment in good condition and using it safely and properly
