Under the guidance of the Pharmacy Tech Supervisor and HLT III, you will: + Prepare sterile products, including chemotherapy, investigational drugs, and biologics + Ensure smooth operations by maintaining inventory, organizing your workspace, and keeping supplies well-stocked and ordered on time + Take on various tasks assigned by pharmacy management to help us achieve operational excellence At UCLA Health, our passion for leveraging state-of-the-art technology to support world-class patient care has enabled us to become an internationally renowned health system with four award-winning hospitals and more than 270 community clinics throughout Southern California. This role will require you to float and travel to multiple locations. Hourly Salary Range: $32.77 - 43.22 (Union represented, step based salary depending on years of experience) Bargaining Unit: EX - AFSCME Qualifications We're seeking a highly skilled pharmacy technician with: + Pharmacy Technician License in the State of California in good standing + Available to work various shifts and locations including nights, weekends, and/or holidays. + Experience preparing chemotherapy solutions + Ability to maintain drug inventory and usage log and order drugs as needed to maintain an appropriate supply on hand + Ability to speak with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds to obtain information and explain procedures. + Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with fellow technicians, pharmacists, volunteers and individuals in other work areas, and in a high volume under the stress of frequent interruptions and/or distractions. + Skill in performing repetitive work according to set procedures and sequence. + Strong communication, organizational, prioritizing, and follow-through skills UCLA Health welcomes all individuals, without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin or disabilities, and we proudly look to each person's unique achievements and experiences to further set us apart.
