Production Worker - Sandridge Crafted Foods, Morton, IL.    WE’RE HIRING AND OFFERING A $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS FOR JOINING OUR TEAM! As an organization, we value teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement. We are currently seeking General Utility Employees to join our food manufacturing plant. As a General Utility Employee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production line while adhering to strict food safety and hygiene protocols. You will be responsible for various tasks related to the handling, sorting, packaging, and cooking of raw meat products. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced and very cold production setting. Join our team of food innovators and technicians to produce fresh, delicious food that will make it to tables across the country. Take pride in knowing that your hard work makes a difference in the lives of our customers and consumers.   What we will offer you: • Competitive wages starting at $17.72 per hour • One-time $1,000 sign-on bonus • Health benefits/401(k) • $1.00/hr. attendance bonus  • Paid Time Off • Opportunities for career growth and training, and development   Working hours: • 1st shift positions – Monday through Saturday, 5 AM or 6 AM start time • 2nd shift positions - Monday through Saturday, 1:30 PM start time Responsibilities: Main responsibilities may include: • Hand sort the product to check for defects • Deposit product from the belt into sealed pouches using a bag-filled cup filling machine • Transfer finished pouches to the cooking rack • Moving unfinished product from tubs to belts • Placing cooked product in trays, boxes, and tubs • Ensure the product has the correct label, weighing ingredients, temperature, and proper distribution • Combine ingredients and cook soups using the company’s recipe Qualifications: What we are looking for: • Ability to work in a cold/wet environment • Reliability • Good communication skills • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds About Company: We're a passionate team at Sandridge Crafted Foods, dedicated to bringing delicious fresh food to your table.
