Position Summary: Our clients are looking to hire a year-round, full-time, experienced House Manager for their primary residence in Southampton, NY. Flexible start date; now or after the first of the year. Responsibilities will include: Assume full responsibility for the smooth operation of the residence and property Act as the single point of contact for the principals Manage the small, established domestic staff Liaise with the Family Office team Schedule and oversee vendors Manage parties, entertaining, and events Plan and execute seasonal maintenance Manage the general maintenance and upkeep of the home and property Assist with projects Maintain inventories Coordinate schedules Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have strong front of the house skills, be highly organized and hands-on with experience leading successful teams in private homes. The principals are looking for an accountable and encouraging manager with effective communication skills who brings out the best in their colleagues.You should be tech savvy with a high EQ. Experience with systems and infrastructure maintenance for a waterfront property would be ideal. Schedule: Generally, five days a week, including weekends during the summer season. The rest of the year is primarily a weekday schedule, business hours. Compensation: Excellent compensation of $140,000 - $175,000 depending on experience and qualifications, plus a full benefits package (health insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, etc.). Annual review and discretionary bonus.
