- Performs activities engaged in machine fabrication - Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment. - Dismantle, assemble, and install industrial machinery. - Fabricate, install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair various machinery and equipment (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic). - Diagnose and repair high/low voltage systems, AC/DC drives, microprocessors, and control wiring. - Replace defective parts, lubricate, clean components, and install functional parts. - Manage inventory of supplies and spare parts. - Read blueprints and schematics for troubleshooting. - Complete and document work orders and preventive maintenance. - Train employees on safe and efficient repair methods, enforce safety regulations. - Install and repair manufacturing equipment, act as plant expert. Perform additional assigned duties. **Starting pay is $30-$35 depending on experience.
