MOTOR EQUIPMENT OPERATOR (MEDIUM)

Salary: $51,890 (2025 Base Salary)Full-time with Benefits
Additional $3/hour differential with CDL

Warren County is seeking a MOTOR EQUIPMENT OPERATOR (MEDIUM) for performing safe and efficient operation of medium size automotive equipment and performs a variety of manual tasks in connection with such operation; does related work as required. The work is usually performed under general supervision.

Minimum Qualifications: One (1) year of experience in the operation of motorized construction equipment.

Special Requirements: Eligibility for an appropriate New York State Class A or B license with air brake endorsement at the time of application and possession at time of appointment

Hiring preference will be given to the following qualifications:

1. Good knowledge of the operation of trucks, tractors and other types of automotive equipment;
2. Ability to understand and carry out simple oral and written instructions;
3. Industry; dependability; good physical condition.

Authority to fill this job vacancy is subject to the approval of the Board of Supervisors.
