Before & After School Nanny for Two Children in Groton, CT Wyndy is partnering with a wonderful family seeking a caring and reliable nanny for their two daughters, ages 7 and 9. This role involves providing before-school care three mornings a week and after-school care five days a week. The family values someone who is a positive role model for their children and is reliable, punctual and committed to their work. Responsibilities: Provide morning care from 4 AM until school drop-off at 7:40 AM, three days a week (Tuesday-Thursday, days may vary). Pick up from school at 1:45 PM and provide after-school care Monday-Friday, including driving the girls to activities (swimming, basketball). Assist with light housekeeping (supporting the girls' laundry and light meal preparation). Provide care during school breaks and holidays when needed. Qualifications: Previous experience working with children, ideally school-aged. Must have a reliable vehicle and clean driving record. Flexible and reliable with early morning availability. Must be comfortable with pets (small dog in the home). Additional Notes: The family offers the option for the nanny to stay overnight, in an extra bedroom and private bathroom, before early morning shifts if needed. They’ve had previous experiences with au pairs. The position is salaried, with cash bonuses for extra hours worked. The hourly rate averages $20/hour.
