Network Support Technician

Responsibilities:
Provide support to Network Operations Manager and Network Administrator to maintain the organization’s infrastructure. Install voice and data network components and wiring as needed. Monitors the network, monitors traffic flow, identifies issues, reports to management and then resolves and recommends enhancements. Administers Virtual environment, SAN and Microsoft servers. Performs system backups of the network components and servers. Supports server software and applications. Review SIEM dashboard, evaluating and troubleshooting issues. Works with management to achieve short term and long-range goals. Is expected to follow direction and support own ideas. The primary responsibilities occur during day shift, however on call and after hours’ support is required
