Job Description

The CCT Residency Program at Tufts Medical Center enables you to start a career in healthcare, even if you have no prior clinical experience. The program trains you to be competent in clinical care skills and to be part of a direct patient care team. The position requires a minimum 12-month commitment, availability to work 36 hours or more per week, rotating shifts (days, evenings, and overnights) with rotating weekends and holidays. Full time benefits are offered including paid holidays, 4 weeks paid time off, medical/dental/vision, MBTA subsidies, and more.

Opportunities are available in many of our inpatient care areas including maternal fetal medicine, emergency, adult complex Med/Surg, ICU and procedural areas. During the application and screening process, you will have the opportunity to specify which area(s) you are most interested in pursuing.

The CCT works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care. You'll develop the skills and confidence you need to take vital signs, place EKG pads, help patients with mobility and activities of daily living, and facilitate patient safety.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of ONE of the following programs required:
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
- Medical Assistant (MA)
- EMT-B
- Bachelor's degree in arts or sciences
- Associate degree in arts or sciences
- Current BLS certification required prior to starting employment

EXPERIENCE
- No experience required
