Job Description

Position Overview: Ethos Early Learning Center is seeking a warm, dedicated, and certified Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team part-time. This role focuses on creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our youngest learners while ensuring their safety and development. Candidates must have the flexibility to work either the opening shift starting at 7:45 AM or the closing shift until 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We especially welcome applicants with a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field or those actively working toward earning a degree. Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers to grow and thrive.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and team members.
  • Follow daily schedules and lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of each child.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom that adheres to state licensing requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with families about their child’s day and progress.
  • Ensure smooth transitions for children and families during drop-off and pick-up times.
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification is required.
  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or currently working toward one, is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, as required by state regulations.
  • Passionate about early childhood education and child development.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work either the opening shift (7:45 AM start) or the closing shift (until 6:00 PM).
Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday
  • Part-time hours with required availability for opening or closing shifts.
