Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in government contracting and Costpoint. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong tenure in previous roles and a solid understanding of project accounting and compliance in a government contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform budget and revenue analysis for assigned projects
• Maintain project tracking and support project managers with financial insight
• Prepare incurred cost submissions in compliance with government regulations
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Assist with audit preparation, including DCAA and other compliance audits
• Ensure accurate recording and reporting of project financials in Costpoint
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain data integrity and financial accuracy

Requirements:

• Costpoint experience is required
• Strong tenure in previous roles is a must
• Minimum 5 years of experience in government contracting accounting/finance
• Solid understanding of project cost accounting, budgeting, and reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Experience preparing incurred cost submissions a plus
• Familiarity with DCAA audits and compliance standards a plus
