About the role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our New York based team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the creative agency sector, with extensive experience within the digital ecosystem, including web design, paid media campaigns, and social media content creation. You would be part of the conceptualization process, thoroughly understanding the brand identity and proposing fresh and innovative visual ideas that convey its messages, values, and personality, for a variety of clients from different sector such us pharma, skincare or sexual health. This position requires working remotely from New York. Responsibilities Creative Conceptualization & Execution: * Conceptualize, develop, and execute design projects from start to finish, creating visually stunning and effective designs for various digital and offline platforms, including social media, websites, email campaigns, commercials and print materials * Lead the design of client presentations, pitch documents, and other related materials, working closely with copywriters, planners, and account teams to deliver strategically sound solutions * Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines, align with the established brand voice, tone, and strategic goals, and maintain a high standard of quality and creativity * Collaborate with the Creative Director, Head of Design, copywriters, and other team members to develop and execute creative concepts that align with client business goals and brand strategies * Ideate video and photo shoots, contributing original, trendsetting, and innovative references, and attend to set to oversee their art direction and ensure consistency with the overall creative vision Project Management: * Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards * Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure seamless project execution, prioritizing work effectively * Ensure all assets are on brief, on brand, and aligned with channel specifics, including UI and cross-browser compatibility * Understand and communicate all technical specifications supplied by media agencies to the team, and ensure all necessary elements like reference files and brand assets are in place before commencing work Client Interaction: * Participate in client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating design concepts and rationale * Defend the creative ideas and proposals, always emphasizing how they align with client expectations and meet strategic business goals. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering solutions that exceed their expectations Innovation and Trends: * Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure designs are innovative and relevant. * Experiment with new design techniques and technologies to push creative boundaries and elevate the quality of work. Minimum requirements: Requirements * Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a graphic designer in a digital agency or similar environment. With a strong portfolio showcasing successfully launched client projects and concepts across broadcast work, digital, social media, and other platforms. * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. * Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Sketch, Figma, or other design tools, and good knowledge of all major digital channels and social media platforms, including familiarity with their technical specifications. Eager to learn and improve from new techniques and tools, including AI. * Creative Vision: Strong conceptual and visual design skills with the ability to transform ideas into compelling visual narratives, a keen eye for aesthetics and design quality, and a passion for delivering creative work while proactively suggesting improvements and maintaining exceptional attention to detail. * Brand Adaptability: Ability to understand and adapt to the unique personality and tone of each brand, ensuring design work aligns with brand identity and communicates its values effectively across all platforms. * Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and feedback convincingly, and strong verbal communication skills to speak effectively with internal teams and clients. * Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, deliver complex briefs, and work closely with Creative Copywriters, Art Directors, Strategists, and the Creative Director. * Industry Knowledge: Thorough familiarity with current mainstream culture, particularly in the US, including entertainment, influencers, and trends, as well as staying up-to-date with fashion, beauty, cosmetics, and skincare trends.
