Are you ready to advance your career in environmental consulting? We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join a thriving team in South Florida as a Senior Staff Scientist/Geologist/Engineer . This role, based in Fort Lauderdale or nearby offices, involves working on impactful projects such as site assessments, groundwater and soil investigations, industrial hygiene evaluations, and environmental remediation for a wide range of clients, including developers, municipalities, and construction firms.

Role Summary

You’ll play a key role in managing environmental projects from start to finish, including:

• Conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and interpreting field and lab data to determine site conditions.
• Leading sampling activities, monitoring site conditions, and creating detailed reports on findings.
• Planning and overseeing site remediation, soil management, and groundwater treatment efforts.
• Preparing cost and technical proposals, engaging with clients, and managing project timelines and budgets.
• Maintaining a strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance across all project activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive environmental site investigations and develop actionable recommendations.
• Manage the collection of environmental samples, including soil, groundwater, and vapors, following industry standards.
• Evaluate and interpret environmental data, preparing clear and actionable reports.
• Stay informed on Florida’s environmental regulations and ensure compliance in all project activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental consulting.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal environmental standards, with a focus on Florida-specific regulations.
• Valid driver’s license with a good record.
