Bridges is a French-Basque restaurant opening this fall, in Chinatown, by alums of estela and NoMad

We are currently hiring our opening team. If you're interesting in building and shaping the culture of a restaurant, are passionate about food, wine and cocktails and love making people feel good, then send us a resume with a note about yourself!

What you'll do:

• As a server assistant, you’ll work closely with the server and sommeliers and rely on your hospitality experience to attentively manage and set the pace of service and cleanliness of the tables
• You will ensure that the dining room and service stations are adequately stocked and clean
• You will assist in creating a memorable and unique experience for each guest that dines with us, as set forth by the Server.
• Communicate openly with your peers to troubleshoot guest issues as they arise
• Participate in ongoing training and education.

Who you are:

• You have 1-2 years full-service restaurant experience in a front of house position
• You provide positive, energetic, and attentive service in a fast-paced environment
• You have a strong work ethic with a curiosity to grow and learn
• You work with integrity, warmth and graciousnes
• You are able to effectively communicate, give and take constructive criticism, and work productively in a team dynamic
• You are able to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods of time 
• You are able to communicate in English, through written and verbal communications
• You are able to lift 30+ pounds 
• You are available on nights, weekends and holidays, as needed
