We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Alabama-licensed Sign Language Interpreter to join our remote team and provide virtual interpreting services to students in PreK-12 classrooms. Your Role:

Provide clear, accurate, and high-quality interpretation for students during academic lessons, social interactions, extracurricular activities, and more in a virtual setting.
Assist with IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings, classroom instructions, and parent-teacher conferences, ensuring effective communication across all parties.
Work collaboratively with school staff, families, and other professionals to ensure each student's needs are met, helping to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all interpreting services provided, ensuring compliance with educational standards and regulations.

What You Bring:

A valid Alabama Sign Language Interpreter license and certification.
A minimum of 2 years of professional interpreting experience, with prior virtual interpreting experience preferred.
Familiarity with various online interpreting platforms and tools to facilitate smooth communication.
Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively manage tasks and collaborate with others in a virtual environment.
