Are you a passionate and skilled Sign Language Interpreter with a desire to make a difference in the lives of students? If so, we want you to be part of our dynamic teletherapy team! We are currently seeking Alabama-licensed Sign Language Interpreters to provide virtual interpreting services to students in PreK-12 classrooms. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely, collaborate with educators, and help bridge communication gaps to support student success.

Your Role: As a Virtual Sign Language Interpreter, your key responsibilities will include:

Providing High-Quality Interpretation: Deliver clear and accurate interpretation for students during academic lessons, social interactions, and extracurricular activities.
Supporting Educational Meetings: Assist with interpreting during IEP meetings, classroom instruction, and parent-teacher conferences to facilitate communication.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with school teams, teachers, and parents to ensure students' needs are met and they have the resources necessary for success.
Accurate Documentation: Keep detailed and accurate records of all interpreting services provided to ensure compliance and transparency.

What You Bring: To be successful in this role, you will need:

Alabama Sign Language Interpreter License and Certification: A current and valid Alabama license to practice as a Sign Language Interpreter.
Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional interpreting experience, with virtual experience preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Comfort with online interpreting platforms and digital tools to facilitate virtual sessions.
Excellent Communication and Organization: Strong communication skills to effectively interpret and collaborate with others, as well as excellent organizational skills to manage your workflow.
