Key Responsibilities: + Perform job cost accounting, monitor construction budgets, and report variance analysis to project managers. + Prepare financial statements and reconciliations, balancing multiple accounts, including WIP (Work-In-Progress) schedules. + Manage and reconcile general ledger entries related to subcontractor billing, change orders, and AR/AP processes. + Track and process progress billings, retentions, and lien waivers in coordination with the accounts payable team. + Ensure compliance with contract terms, regulatory requirements, and accurate tax filings. Requirements + Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. + Minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role, with construction industry experience highly preferred. + Hands-on experience with job costing techniques and construction-specific ERP systems, such as Sage/Timberline or Viewpoint. + Strong understanding of GAAP principles and cash flow reporting. + Ability to manage deadlines while maintaining absolute attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.
