Note : This is a hybrid position with in-office days required each week at our clients Morristown, NJ office.

Note : You must have at least 2 years of experience in estate tax returns and gift tax returns.

Job Description

• Assist attorneys in preparing estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
• Support estate and trust administration, including probate filings and preparation of inventories and accountings
• Draft and file tax returns related to estates and trusts (federal and state)
• Communicate with clients, courts, and tax authorities on behalf of attorneys
• Maintain organized case files and track deadlines
• Perform legal research as needed
• Collaborate as part of a close-knit legal team

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in estate tax returns and gift tax returns
• Paralegal certificate preferred but not required
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management tools
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
