Job Description

EthosEnergy is currently seeking a Turbine Technician for our Houston, TX facility. The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Houston, TX Production department. This position reports directly to the Turbine Supervisor. This position will be located at the Engine Repair Operations (ERO) facility for the Light Turbines business unit within the EthosEnergy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Disassembly, clean, inspection, and assembly of gas turbine generators and associated equipment by calculating associated dimensions and clearances.
  • Execution of repairs and overhauls in accordance with production supervisor/project management/customer requirements.
  • Thorough and timely completion of all component repairs and overhaul records.
  • Interpret/analyze engineering drawings, repair schemes, service bulletins and all relevant technical documentation.
  • Carry out calculations using appropriate measuring equipment such as micrometers.
  • To comply with EthosEnergy and customers’ quality, health, safety and environmental (QHSE) management systems and procedures, as well as all legal and regulatory requirements at all times.
  • Ensure all accidents/incidents/near misses/hazards are immediately reported to the HSE Department and relevant paperwork is completed within 24 hours of occurrence.
  • Work within the team to develop a culture where everyone embraces, upholds and accepts responsibility for a safe workplace, a healthy working life, a sustainable environment and the right and duty to intervene.
  • Other duties as required.

  • Working knowledge of turbo machinery build standards and requirements.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility in support of changing external and internal customer needs.
  • Competent IT skills including the use of MS Word and Excel.
  • Shows a willingness and ability to learn new skills.
