Are you a creative video editor with a passion for business insights, operations, and storytelling? 

This is a unique opportunity for an exceptionally talented video editor to build our client’s (Filterbuy) digital media presence. Filterbuy is now an industry leader in the indoor air quality industry, but not by accident. Its founder & CEO, David Heacock, was a former Wall Street professional who left everything behind to disrupt the industry. His obsession with excellence and willingness to take risks no one else would have put Filterbuy in the leadership position they are in. We’re excited to showcase David's story.

We’re looking for a strong storyteller to capture and curate David’s story, his uniqueness as a business thought leader, and the heart/brand of Filterbuy. Because this content is made for social media (YouTube-first), we’re seeking a creative who can pair strong storytelling and high production value with entertainment value and a digital savviness for the content to succeed on social.

You won’t be at it alone, either. You’ll receive guidance from veterans (us) that have grown multiple YouTube channels to 10M subscribers & 5B views, using some of the most innovative creative formats.

We’re not looking to make super technical or advertising videos. We’re looking to craft a truly unique brand presence for Filterbuy that few companies have done before. We want to reimagine what digital media content for a business can look like that can be exceptionally authentic, highly transparent, and totally pull back the curtain on a business built with rare out-of-the-box thinking. 

We’re aiming to create deeply engaging, informative, highly accessible and entertaining videos that will inform the average person on how they can solve unique business challenges, take action to grow their businesses, and expand their ways of thinking about business. 

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with the Lead Producer to develop and execute a compelling content strategy for Filterbuy’s YouTube and digital media platforms.
• Skillfully edit videos that tell the fascinating and authentic story of Filterbuy and David’s journey and capture the ongoing innovations and evolution within the company.
• Transform high level complex business insights into simple, captivating narratives that resonate with a broad audience.
• Lead the entirety of the editing processes and workflows, working with a growing production team to build a robust digital media presence

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years as a video editor
• Technical Skills: proficiency in Adobe Suite, especially Premiere Pro
• Business Acumen: strong interest, curiosity, and passion for business and operations
• Storytelling Ability: strong ability to translate complicated insights into simple, accessible language and highly entertaining video formats
• Leadership: ability to run autonomously and lead the building of editing workflows and department from scratch
• Location: ability to work remotely anywhere in the United States

Benefits

• Contract: $7,500 - $8,500 per month ($90k - $102k annual salary equivalent)
