Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Virtual Middle School Math Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will provide engaging, standards-aligned math instruction to students in grades 6 through 8. Through a mix of live online lessons, interactive tools, and collaborative activities, you will help students build a solid understanding of key mathematical concepts, empowering them to succeed academically.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead live, synchronous math lessons for middle school students (grades 6-8) in a virtual classroom environment.
Design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with South Carolina State Standards for Mathematics, ensuring that each lesson is interactive and accessible.
Regularly assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and various assessments, offering constructive feedback to support growth and improvement.
Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and supportive virtual learning environment where every student feels valued and motivated to succeed.
Actively participate in virtual staff meetings, professional development, and other school-related activities to contribute to the overall success of the learning community.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
A valid teaching certification in Middle School Math (grades 6-8) in South Carolina, or an equivalent certification.
Previous experience teaching middle school math is preferred, whether in a traditional or virtual classroom setting.
Strong communication skills and a passion for making math engaging and understandable for students.
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to the needs of a diverse student population in a virtual environment.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 43,000.00 55,000.00 Per Year
