Smith Brothers Farms , a leading producer and deliverer of milk to homes, schools, and businesses in the Puget Sound area, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Manager to join our team at our newest warehouse in Federal Way .

If you have at least 2 years of hands-on experience managing a warehouse operation in food distribution or manufacturing , we want to hear from you! Qualified candidates must be qualified to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.

Desired qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience managing a warehouse operation in food distribution or manufacturing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study
  • Be technically sound. Experience in WMS a plus.
  • Must be qualified to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
  • Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff.
  • Be nice, a critical thinker, and want to make a difference.

Essential duties/responsibilities:

  • Driven to continuously improve all aspects of our warehouse operations.
  • Exhibits critical thinking and curiosity in our warehouse operations.
  • Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction the primary goal.
  • Hire, train, manage, and mentor the warehouse team and ensure short and long-term performance goals are met.
  • Prepare workflows, staffing requirement, and KPI’s to continuously improve productivity, quality, and service.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Create standard operating procedures around safe food handling and record maintenance.
  • Great culture is critical. This person will be essential to always working to improve and maintain a great work environment.
