Work-Based Learning Coordinator — Competencies and Qualifications
Lighthouse Community Public Schools is looking for a talented Work-Based Learning Coordinator to join our team. The role of the Work-Based Learning Coordinator is to facilitate opportunities for all LCPS high school students to explore different professions and gain workplace experience by leveraging industry and community partnerships. By coordinating work-based learning experiences such as informational interviews, job shadows, and internships, the Work-Based Learning Coordinator will help students and staff connect the knowledge and skills learned in school to the working world. To do this effectively, the Work-Based Learning Coordinator will collaborate regularly with our Director of College and Career Success, CTE Pathways, teaching staff, and school administration to implement an array of meaningful experiences for students. This position will work across both of our campuses, Lighthouse and Lodestar. Funding for this position is guaranteed for the next two years (through the 2026-27 school year) and we will do our best to secure funding beyond that.time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

This position will report to LCPS’ Director of College and Career Success
TIME COMMITMENT:
This position is 1.0 FTE (full-time exempt) and follows a 12-month (233 day) work year with significant student-free days for professional learning and collaboration with colleagues and interaction with families.
Common Building Hours: All staff members are expected to maintain common work hours.. These may be subject to change for the 2025-26SY:
8:00 - 5:00 pm Mon - Fri
Occasional evening events during the year including start of year Icecream Social, Back to School Night, Expo, and other events identified by the school calendar in advance
OUR COMPENSATION PACKAGE
At Lighthouse Community Public Schools we take good care of our employees. We provide a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a competitive salary and generous health and retirement benefits (100% employee health coverage/50% for dependents; 8% employer-matching for retirement program; medical and dependent FSA). Compensation for this role will be $85,000 - 100,000 depending on experience.
