The Role:
As our Veterinary Receptionist , you’ll be the smiling face and friendly voice that welcomes clients and their pets. You’ll be the first point of contact, making every visit feel smooth, organized, and stress-free for both humans and animals alike.
What You’ll Do:
· Greet clients and their pets with warmth, empathy, and a genuine smile
· Schedule appointments and manage our busy clinic calendar
· Answer calls, emails, and messages promptly and professionally
· Keep client records up-to-date, including medical history and insurance details
· Assist with check-in and check-out, including payment processing
· Share helpful information about our services, products, and procedures
· Keep the reception area tidy, welcoming, and pet-friendly
· Work closely with our veterinary team to keep the clinic running smoothly
What We’re Looking For:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· A natural ability to deliver top-notch customer service with professionalism and kindness
· Familiarity with animal care is a plus (pet grooming, dog training, equine care, animal husbandry, or pet care experience)
· Bonus points for knowledge of lab procedures or veterinary critical care
· Comfort working in a fast-paced environment while staying detail-oriented
· Basic computer skills for scheduling, records, and payment processing
