We are looking for an experienced, self-driven Collections Specialist to join our team! As a Collections Specialist, your main responsibility will be to contact clients to collect missed and outstanding payments. The qualified candidate must be professional, trustworthy and able to work independently. Responsibilities::

Take actions in order to encourage timely payments
Identify outstanding account receivables
Monitor accounts on a daily basis and contact clients to discuss their overdue payments
Investigate historical data for debts and bills
Process payments and refunds
Resolve billing issues
Resolve customer credit issues
Update account status records
Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Collection Specialist or similar role with 4+ years experience
Excellent knowledge of billing procedures and various collection techniques
Working knowledge of MS Office and databases
Comfortable working with targets
Knowledge of collection laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree is a plus
Must be able to sit at a computer for long periods of time
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
