Overview The Manufacturing Technician works in flow control assembly and surface finishing of the stainless valve components.
Responsibilities - Follow detailed manufacturing and assembly procedures.
- Follows process order requirements for assembly and verification
- Operates small hand and power tools to assemble products
- Train new personnel on manufacturing procedures.
- Communicate all pertinent information and advise direct Supervisor of any problems.
- Identifies quality problems and follows reporting procedures
- Actively participates in team activities and the accomplishment of team goals.
- Responsible for accurately completing and processing all documents necessary for tracking operations, including databases.
- Understand drawings and standard work instructions and apply them according to job specifications
- Performs surface finishing activities; deburring, sand blasting and electropolishing.
- Comply with Good Documentation Practices when creating, documenting, and reviewing quality records.
- Follow good manufacturing practices per company operating procedures.
- Clean and organize workbenches before and after shift.
- Supports other Operations Departments processes; Shipping and Inventory as needed.
- May serve on cross-functional teams to address key operational issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required by Mfg. Leads/Supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications - High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required.
- 2-4 years related experience preferred
- Regular and predictable on-site attendance
- Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed
- Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is expected to:
- Moderate work - Exerting up to 40 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs of force frequently, and/or 10 lbs force constantly to move objects.
- Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, Pulling and Reaching:
- Occasionally: Reaching upward and downward, Push/pull, Visual Acuity with or without corrective lenses
- Activities:

The estimated hourly rate/salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $19.00-$21.00. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
