Overview
Choice Graphics is looking for a 2-color Offset Press/Bindery Operations Specialist to join our team and help us with our next stage of growth! We are looking for someone whose attention to detail and pleasant demeanor contribute to our positive relationship with team members and clients that has been our hallmark for 30+ years. This full-time position is located in Rowley, MA.

Responsibilities

• Running & maintaining a Heidelberg Quickmaster and a Hamada 665 to produce quality projects for our customers
• Platemaking
• Oversight of stock procurement & maintaining production supplies
• Operating cutter, folder, scoring machine and laminator
• Various other related activities required to help us meet our clients needs

Requirements

Ideally, the candidate will have:

• Experience running a Heidelberg Quickmaster and/or Hamada 665
• Attention to detail, problem solving skills and a sense of ownership for areas of responsibility
• Pride in craft and mechanical ability
• Experience running bindery equipment including a Baum Folder, Perfecta Cutter and Duplo is a plus
• Familiarity with various paper stock and their characteristics
• Ability to lift items weighing 30-50 pounds safely and effectively
• Strong organizational and planning skills that allow for success in a dynamic environment
• A creative growth mindset with an eye to innovation and the inclination to recommend improvements
• Previous experience with EFI PrintSmith is a plus (but not required)
